This year’s scholarships include: Browning Marean Litigation Support Scholarship, created to honor the memory of ILTA member Browning Marean, this scholarship is awarded to one individual who lives and works in North America and one for those outside of North America; Law Department Scholarship is awarded to anyone from an ILTA member entity that is not a law firm; Minority Leadership Development Scholarship was created to drive diversity in the legal technology community and nurture leadership and professional development among minority members of ILTA; Rising Star Scholarship is awarded to individuals who are in the early stages of their career and demonstrate exceptional performance and leadership; Veteran Scholarship is awarded to U.S. military veterans currently working in the legal technology community; and the Women in Technology Scholarship was created to champion, mentor and encourage women who chose legal technology as their career field.
For each scholarship, if selected by the judging panel, attendance at ILTACON 2018 (August 19 – 23 in National Harbor, Maryland) will be covered. The registration fee, lodging and all reasonable travel costs (coach fare) will be provided.
