LegalSEC / Information Security Session Rundown

By Tim Golden posted 08-10-2015 17:37

In reviewing the simply AMAZING content attendees have in store for them Sunday-Thursday, I thought it might be useful to list out some of the security-related sessions this year.

By my count, there are almost 30 sessions with some level of security-related content from different perspectives and areas of discipline. This doesn't count the networking opportunities at meal times and snack breaks.  I've tried to compile them below with session title, my take on the session, the session day / time, the level of security focus of the session (IMHO), and the hashtags for it just in case you want to be in two (or three! or four!) sessions at once during a particular time slot.

If I've left some out, please let me know in the comments!

Why the @#$&*! Did You Download That? This session will cover more than just blocking downloads.  With so many hosted options, the landscape if far more complicated for security review. On a side note, I’m not sure this one will end up on Randi’s “session titles of the year” list.

Kidding aside, KM and IG are both important considerations for firms and corporate legal departments. Security professionals need an understanding of the drivers & challenges both groups face.
