ILTA's Volunteer Awards

Congrats to the 2021 Volunteer Awardees!

ILTA created the ILTA Volunteer Awards in 2020 as a method of highlighting the significant amount of time and resources the amazing ILTA volunteers dedicate to the Legal Technology Community. The ILTA Volunteer Award Recipients are nominated by the ILTA Community and ILTA staff liaisons. While hundreds of individuals volunteer with ILTA on an annual basis, the ILTA Volunteer Awards is just one way we want to show appreciation for the many individuals that go above and beyond to help the Legal Technology Community.

FAQ

Is there a limit to how many people I nominate?

There is no limit, you may nominate as many peers as you would like.

I already nominated a peer for one of the awards but feel they qualify for a number of the other awards, which one should I nominate them for?

You may nominate a peer for as many of the different award categories as you feel they may qualify for, just be sure to state the reasoning within each award category for why you feel they should be considered for each particular award.

The person I am nominating serves on multiple volunteer groups, what should I do?

If you would like to acknowledge a nominee’s work in multiple volunteer groups, you have the option to do so within the nomination form.

Are the Volunteer Awards limited to only people who serve on official ILTA Committees?

Anyone who volunteers with ILTA in some capacity is eligible to be nominated for an ILTA Volunteer Award. This is not limited to individuals who serve on ILTA committees or teams, if you have seen a peer be an excellent contributor to ILTA over the last year, please consider nominating them for a Volunteer Award.
