Bio

​Chiedu Egbuniwe has worked in software applications for over 20 years.  He has extensive experience in technology support, training and management, as well as cyber security and maintenance issues. 
 
Chiedu Egbuniwe was born in Massachusetts and raised in West Virginia and Georgia.  After graduating from Johns Hopkins University, Chiedu worked as a software trainer, specializing in presentation and design applications at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, as well as law firms, Dewey Leboeuf and Orrick in New York.  Chiedu continued his education at Film Video Arts, learning from film and graphic artists in media applications. He leveraged this knowledge, later working as an art director at the Women’s Sports Network, an internet marketing agency, helming ad campaigns for the US Olympic luge teams. Chiedu relocated to Los Angeles to focus on legal technology training and proprietary-based applications.   He currently works as end user experience manager for the Los Angeles office of Milbank Tweed Hadley and McCloy, helping to develop strategies for desktop and mobile technologies, artificial intelligence and cyber security. 
 
Chiedu is passionate about the arts, having written, produced and directed short films which have screened around the world.  He’s served on the boards of Outfest and The Industry LA.  At Outfest, he worked as a mentor for Outfest’s Outset program, executive producing short films directed by young, diverse  filmmakers.  He was heavily involved with Fusion, the People of Color LGBTQ Film Festival and the Outfest UCLA Legacy Project, helping to preserve LGBTQ film.  At The Industry LA, Chiedu helped publicize productions of new operas, including Galileo and War of the Worlds at Walt Disney Hall. 
 
Chiedu currently lives in West Hollywood with a large collection of classical music  LPs.
