ILTA is seeking volunteers to judge the 9th Annual Distinguished Peer Awards applications and select the winners. Each judge will be assigned to one award, and the process is outlined below. Judges are a critical part of the success of our awards program, and this is a great opportunity to see the work of your peers and get fresh ideas. This is a short-term volunteer opportunity that will be completed between May and July.
There are two main phases of judging:
(1) Read and review the applications for your assigned award and rate them based on the criteria for each award. We tally the ratings and determine the three shortlist applicants for each award based on these ratings. Phase 1 application judging deadline - May 16.
(2) Participate in interviews of three candidates, judging their interviews, and ranking the applicants. Phase 2 Interviews - May 28 thru June 29.
