Summary: ILTACON 2019 planning committee members are passionate about developing memorable conference sessions. Serving on is a great opportunity to create close connections with peers and increase substantive knowledge of legal technology! Committee members will help develop the educational program within ILTA's programming framework. The full committee will be broken into smaller teams to develop sessions for specific audience groups or areas of focus. Each committee member will have direct responsibility for producing approximately four educational sessions, including recruitment of speakers and facilitators, and work with them to develop the educational content. They will also support their team in all activities and session development.
Term: One year
Compensation: ILTACON planning committee members do not receive compensation for their services but may be reimbursed for expenses (NOT including ILTACON registration or travel).
Responsibilities
- Execute ILTA's strategic goal of member engagement through the premiership of programming for ILTACON
- Actively participate in meetings and calls with the Committee and sub-teams
- Embrace an agile, nimble and flexible approach to programming
- Exhibit a positive communication style in person, on the phone and through email messages with council members, other volunteer leaders staff
- Serve as an ambassador for ILTA
