Description:

The Program Planning Council (PPC) is an appointed team of ILTA members responsible for delivering ILTA's programming framework. The PPC comprises subject-matter experts and thought leaders in various areas of disciplines, representatives from our conference planning teams and representatives who focus on our law firm and law department members' needs at local and international levels.

Compensation
ILTA volunteer leaders do not receive compensation for their services but may be reimbursed for expenses.

Responsibilities
• Execute ILTA's strategic goal of increasing member engagement through consistent programming across all ILTA deliverables
• Develop the Programming Pathways for the year
• Actively participate in meetings and calls with the Council and other ILTA teams
• Liaise and lead other ILTA volunteer teams - PPC members will be assigned to Liaise with one of the following groups:
  • o Practice Management Content Coordinating Team
  • o Technology Solutions Content Coordinating Team
  • o Knowledge Management Content Coordinating Team
  • o Security Compliance Content Coordinating Team
  • o Corporate Content Coordinating Team
  • o Litigation and Practice Support Content Coordinating Team
  • o Relationship Coordinating Team
  • o LegalSEC Steering Committee
  • o International Team
  • o Publications
• The PPC will also include representatives from the following volunteer groups
  • o Strategic Vendor Relationships
  • o Talent Council
  • o ILTACON Co-Chairs
  • o ILTA Board
• Coach and mentor ILTA volunteer leaders and content team members
• Embrace an agile, nimble and flexible approach to programming
• Exhibit a positive communication style in person, on the phone and through email messages with Council members, other volunteer leaders staff
• Serve as an ambassador for ILTA
• Abide by ILTA's Conflict of Interest Policy

Qualifications for Service
Deep knowledge/experience of technology in the legal profession
Effective interpersonal communication
Ability to work within a team environment
Business acumen
Ability to be responsive to rapidly shifting priorities
Past ILTA volunteer experience preferred

ILTA Volunteer Advancement
Members of the PPC can apply to be the PPC Vice-chair at the end of their term.
Members of the PPC interested in serving another term on the PPC can apply for consideration at the end of their term.

Selection Process
Interviewed by: VP of Membership, PPC Chair PPC Vice-chair.
