A certified Project Management Professional since 2008, Dana LaRieal Morales manages a wide range of technology-based projects at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, a full-service law firm based in Nashville with offices in Memphis, Birmingham, Chattanooga and Austin. Ms. Morales manages projects involving day-to-day law firm operations as well as projects related to the provision of legal services to Waller’s clients. Utilizing a hybrid project management approach tailored to address the specific needs and challenges of the law firm environment, Ms. Morales project management experience includes the rollout of a comprehensive document management system, operating systems upgrades, ongoing data security and software licensing projects and the implementation of ethical walls for client service teams. Ms. Morales joined Waller in 2002, and her experience as a legal assistant, help desk technician and help desk/training manager have provided the foundation for her role in project management. Ms. Morales earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and she holds a Masters in Public Administration from Tennessee State University. She serves as communications director for Global Sisters in Project Management, an organization of minority women involved in project management. She currently serves as president of the University of Tennessee Black Alumni Council. Additionally, Ms. Morales volunteers regularly at the Nashville Rescue Mission and coordinates Waller’s volunteer efforts with the organization.
