Mastering Information Governance: What it is, why it matters, and where to start. Most law firms have retention policies, risk frameworks, and governance principles in place. Fewer are confident those frameworks hold up under real operational pressure. This closed, in-person roundtable brings together senior peers for a focused and candid discussion on how information governance works in practice. We’ll start with a short scene-setting introduction, before opening the conversation to share experiences, challenges, and practical approaches.
This session is designed to encourage open dialogue. Participants are welcome to speak freely, with the understanding that insights shared in the room remain confidential.
We hope that this will be the first of a regular Toronto meet-ups for those leading and shaping information governance, creating a forum to exchange perspectives, challenges, experience, advice and progress over time.
Who should attend: Senior professionals responsible for information governance, risk, compliance, knowledge management, or IT within law firms. You are welcome to join us for drinks and networking even if you are not able to attend the roundtable!
