After realizing that she was not really cut out to be a Firefighter or EMT, Debbie decided to work for an IT company that helped small business with their technology needs. Everything snowballed from there.
Debbie realized that it wasn’t just the computers that people needed help with, they needed help with finding the right software for their business, using software to support their business (not the other way around!), how to understand how they made money, how to manage people and much more.
So, Debbie promptly left the IT business and formed a company that became one of the founding pillars of what is now known as Affinity Consulting Group.
Today, Debbie spends her time running Affinity, working with clients, and speaking to lawyers and other legal professionals all over the place, racking up some serious frequent flier miles. Her talks focus on fun topics like Law Firm Leadership, Effective Communication, Why Process Matters, Time Management and lots more. Debbie is passionate about all things law firm and legal department-related and she prides herself in sharing what she knows as much as possible. Debbie’s ultimate goal is to help people run firms that intentionally become more and more successful.
Debbie also invests a fair amount of her time on relationship building with our solution providers, and she has served as the Chair of ABA TECHSHOW in both 2010 and 2018.
