Specializing in eDiscovery and Litigation Support, Michael has years of experience with all best-of-breed litigation support software packages and hosting solutions, and consults with attorneys and clients in all phases of the Discovery and production of electronically stored information.
Michael is an expert on litigation needs assessment, project management, training for staff and legal teams on best use of technology, database design, advice on workflow for computer forensics, electronic evidence handling and trial preparation. He has managed numerous complex multi-district and multi-party litigations from the perspective of hosting document reviews, forensics and paper acquisition, project management, database design, productions, transcript management and trial consultation. His experience includes data security and information governance as it relates to the handling of client data. Leading up to changes in the federal rules on civil procedures governing electronic discovery, he assisted in the development and presentation of a series of Continuing Legal Education classes.
Prior to joining the Compliance team, Michael was the Manager of Practice Support for Duane Morris LLP. Prior to his lengthy career with Duane Morris, he spent 5 years with Cozen O’Connor as Assistant Manager of Litigation Support, and he was also a Senior Consultant for Capsicum Group, LLC.
Michael is a member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and a past President of the Philadelphia Association Litigation Support Professionals (PALSP). He is a graduate of Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University (BA and MM, Music).
