As Acrowire’s Founder and President, Ted Theodoropoulos combines his interest in technology with his passion to improve the business productivity of entrepreneurs and corporations. Ted’s background in technology began in the early 1980s developing applications in BASIC on the first personal computers. He is an expert at reducing the cost of doing business by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing the right technology solution to bridge the gap.
As a Senior Vice President at Bank of America, Ted held a number of leadership roles in Corporate Audit, Consumer Risk Management and Global Anti-Money Laundering. There, Ted integrated Six Sigma methodologies into his technology work, earning DFSS Green and Black Belt Certifications. His Green Belt work led to a United States Patent for which he was recognized with the 2007 Best of Six Sigma Award. Prior to joining Bank of America, Ted was a product specialist at Microsoft providing guidance and support on database technologies where he became a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Certified Scrum Master.
Ted earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to receive his Masters in Business Administration from the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While at the Belk College, Ted focused on International Management where he studied global business issues in Eastern and Central Europe, South America and China.
