As cyberthreats continue to evolve, private industry, international partners and local, state and federal agencies need to strengthen partnerships to address the threats. The parties must be willing to share information and work together to enhance network security posture. From a federal law enforcement perspective, the FBI is working to provide industry with information on threats facing their systems and asking that industry work with them to identify key information -- improving security operations for all.

Presenter:
Stacy Stevens
is the Unit Chief - Mission Critical Engagement Unit in the FBI's Cyber Division. After establishing a program to enhance strategic-level information sharing with the private sector, she manages the program and represents the FBI on cyber matters related to private industry. Stacy began her FBI career in 1996 as an investigative specialist, participating in sensitive counterterrorism and counterintelligence investigations utilizing specialized operational techniques. She later worked as an intelligence analyst in the Counterterrorism Division, developing crisis response plans and pre-deploying resources needed to anticipate, prevent and resolve critical incidents at high-profile domestic and international events. After being selected as the FBI's first Crisis Management Specialist, Stacy transferred to the Critical Incident Response Group in 2005, supporting high-profile operations including deployment to Hurricane Katrina, co-lead planner for the Top Officials 4 full-scale national level exercise, deputy on-scene facilitator for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and more. She later became the special assistant to the Assistant Director of CIRG, where she developed policy in furtherance of strategic crisis management initiatives. Before entering the FBI, Stacy worked at the District Attorney's Office in Pennsylvania.
