Welcome and introductions by Kara Portwood, ILTA Board Secretary, and Joy Heath Rush, CEO, ILTA

10:15 - 11:45 What We Wish We'd Known about Teams When We Started

In March 2020, Teams was just another application in most law firms. Two years into the pandemic, Teams has become a critical part of the technology and collaboration ecosystem at many firms.

Only two years for a project of this magnitude? How did we do it so fast? What did we give up by such a short implementation? What do we wish we'd known that we are dealing with now?

Speakers: Elizabeth Adkins, Director, Information Governance, Davis Wright Tremaine, Jeff Heath, Global IT Business Analyst, Mayer Brown LLP, Michelle Gilbert, Microsoft, and Miranda Perkins, Knowledge Manager, WilmerHale

12:15 - 1:25 Lessons Learned: Mastering Teams in a Matter Management Environment

Part of the challenge of implementing Teams has been to incorporate its features and functions into what is - for most firms - a mature matter management model with processes for populating matter teams, providing access rights, etc.

What have we learned about Teams that is improving our Matter Management? What about Teams is causing us to rethink aspects of Matter Management? What have we had to do to fit Teams into our Matter Management environment?

Speakers: Elizabeth Adkins, Director, Information Governance, Davis Wright Tremaine and Faith Drewry, User Experience Architect, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP

1:30 - 2:30 Best Practices: Mastering Teams in a Matter Management Environment

This session will focus on best practices for implementing/evolving Teams as a multi-product matter management environment.

Speakers: Fergus Wilson, CTO, Intapp and Corey Buzzell, MTC Architect, Microsoft Corporation
