Summary: ILTACON 2019 Team Coordinators have a passion for and people management and want to help committee members meet the goal of developing advanced and thought-provoking educational sessions within ILTA’s programming framework. ILTACON 2019 Team Coordinators will lead a subset of the committee, helping to build and support their team of volunteers, and aiding their team members’ professional development. The Team Coordinators will also mentor committee members in developing educational sessions related to specific audience groups or areas of focus, and act as communication conduits and coaches.
Term: One year
Compensation: ILTACON Team Coordinators do not receive compensation for their services but may be reimbursed for expenses (NOT including ILTACON registration or travel).
Responsibilities
- Execute ILTA's strategic goal of member engagement through the premiership of programming for ILTACON
- Actively participate in meetings and calls with the Committee and sub-teams
- Embrace an agile, nimble and flexible approach to programming
- Exhibit a positive communication style in person, on the phone and through email messages with council members, other volunteer leaders, and staff
- Serve as an ambassador for ILTA
