I have worked in legal training for over 20 years and in corporate training for 16 years before that. I have been the Director of Customer Success with EstateWorks Systems since August 2019.
I have been a Technology Trainer & Instructor in the legal industry since 2003, working in large and medium firms before moving to the vendor side. I have worked with practice groups on a variety of issues, including electronic data preservation, information governance - records retention requirements, document management policies (iManage & eDocs), and other applications to support the firms’ workflow.
I used my expertise as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Certified Microsoft Office Master in multiple versions of MS Office while assisting with the development of the original Legal Tech Audit. This is the assessment originally developed by Andrew Perlman, Dean at Suffolk University Law School and D. Casey Flaherty, formerly in-house counsel at Kia Motors.
My evangelizing efforts for the Legal Tech Audit got me invited to teach for two summers at the University of Colorado – Boulder School of Law during their Summer Entrepreneur program. In 2015, I was also invited to be a guest instructor during Professor Amy Bauer’s Transactional Drafting course (LAWS 7051-801).
I work closely with my team at EstateWorks Systems to ensure that every client team receives the highest standard of customer service and that all client’s users are comfortable and confident with their use of our tools.
Prior to joining EstateWorks Systems, I also taught evening and weekend Microsoft Office courses in Dallas and Collin Counties in the Dallas, TX area.
I served on ILTA's User Support Peer Group Steering Committee and later was a Session Coordinator for ILTACONS 2024 and 2025. I have presented webinars for ILTA, been an ILTA Scholarship judge; and I have repeatedly been a speaker at ILTA's annual conferences.
