ILTA Europe - Education & Training SIG Meeting - 06/05/2026

When:  May 6, 2026 from 12:30 to 14:00 (BST)

The New World of Work: Tackling Training and Adoption Challenges

Please join ILTA's quarterly meeting for professionals in IT Education & Training, on Wednesday 6th May at 12:30pm (BST), moderated by your ILTA Special Interest Group Steering Committee. This month the ILTA Education & Training SIG will once again be teaming up with LTC4's Global Digital Learning Network (GDLN) for an online meeting.

We have invited Paul Crisp of Leep to talk about on-boarding apprentices as more young people are being encouraged to move away from the degree route. Training teams will need to change the on-boarding process as some may be school leavers and have never set foot in a corporate environment or advanced education location.

We will also discuss the challenges facing "digital adoption specialists" not least what should they be called, as "IT Trainer" doesn't really cover it anymore. How do you keep up to date in this fast-changing environment and build trust with your audience? Lawyer resistance to training is still an issue, but learning about the new AI tools may be the tipping point.

We invite you to come prepared to share your experiences, insights and challenges as we collectively look toward the future of the legal tech training function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas, pick your peers' brains and build connections with other IT education, learning and training professionals.

This meeting is free to attend and open to anyone working in a law firm or legal department, so feel free to invite a colleague. There is no cost to attend and much to be gained!

Zoom details will be sent to all registered attendees 48 hours before the event.
