If your firm has offices in different time zones, these two tips will come in handy:

Add a second time zone to Outlook calendar

  1. In Calendar view, display by Day or Week view.
  2. Right-click on the time increments and select Change Time Zone.
  3. Under Time Zones, check Show a second time zone.
  4. Type the abbreviated location in the Label field and select the appropriate time zone from the Time zone dropdown menu.
  5. Click OK.

Add additional clocks to the Date/Time display in the Information Tray

  1. Click on the time displayed at the right in the Information Tray.
  2. Click Change date and time settings.
  3. Click the Additional Clocks tab.
  4. Check Show this clock and select the time zone, then enter a display name for that clock.
  5. Repeat step 4 to add another clock for a different time zone.
  6. Click OK.

Now it's easy to know what time it is when sending meeting requests from Outlook, or calling someone in a different time zone.
