Word: Scroll Automatically
Look at your mouse. Does it have a little wheel in the center of the top side that lets you scroll up and down pages? Chances are good that it does. But if it doesn’t, or even if you simply prefer to use your keyboard to the mouse whenever possible, you might be pleased to learn that you can change a setting in Word that will allow you to scroll automatically.

In Word, go to the File tab and select Options.
Select Quick Access Toolbar in the left pane.
In the left side in the list of commands, select the All Commands option.
Select Auto Scroll in the list of commands and click on the Add button. Click OK to close the window.
The Auto Scroll option is now on your Quick Access Toolbar.
To use this feature, click on the button on your toolbar or QAT. Your mouse pointer changes to double arrows pointing up and down.
Move the mouse down to scroll down pages, or up to scroll up. You can even determine how quickly you want to scroll.
The closer your pointer is to the shadowy scroll pointer, the more slowly you will scroll. Speed up by moving it farther away.
When you are done, click on your document or press the ESC key to turn Auto Scroll off again.
