How to copy and paste edits with track changes from a Word document into an email without losing the changes - works also to paste into another Word document that has Track changes as well.

  1. Select the text you wish to copy.
  2. Turn off Track Changes (Review / Track Changes button)
  3. Enable the Developer ribbon. File>Options>Customize Ribbon and check Developer
  4. Click the Group button, then select Group.
  5. Copy the text.
  6. Paste the text into your email message.
  7. Click Paste Options button to adjust formatting as needed (so that your changes are visible).
