AutoCorrect is a feature in Microsoft Word that will automatically correct misspelled word and common typos. You can also add entries to this list for those words you commonly have issues spelling. It can also be used for capitalization errors as well as symbols. Here’s how you access AutoCorrect in Word:
- File>Options>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options…. button
- Use the Replace: field to enter the word you want to type. Then use the With: field to enter what you want to actually show in your document.
o For example, Replace: Thanks With: Thanks
