Know Before You Go

Packing for LTACON 2015

Casual attire is appropriate for all ILTACON 2015 activities. Monday evening’s exhibit hall opening is themed “Once Upon a Time.” The Octavius Ballroom will feature decorated booths, and many vendors will be dressed in fairy tale-themed costumes. You can join in with costumed attire. At our awards dinner on Tuesday evening, many presenters and nominees will dress formally; though casual clothing is appropriate, a little glitz and glam à la Vegas works too.

Session rooms can get cool. To remain comfortable consider bringing a light jacket or sweater. The prevailing outdoor climate in Las Vegas is dry and hot. If you hale from a region with 10 or more words to describe humidity, consider packing lip balm, extra lotion, eye drops and a refillable water bottle. Comfortable shoes are a must; you'll be walking quite a bit!

Once You Arrive

LAS Xpress Shuttle Service is available for ILTACON attendees. Click here for pricing information and reservations. Information is also available on the Venue page of the ILTACON site.

Caesars Palace check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Once you are settled, come to the member registration desk located on the Promenade Level. Vendor/Consultant registration is also on Promenade Level of the Conference Center in Office 4 (but just look for the big Vendor Registration sign).  The registration desks opens at noon on Sunday and remains open until 8:00 p.m. The registration desk re-opens at 6:00 a.m. on Monday.

The name badge you receive at registration should be worn at all times during ILTACON events. Please understand the importance and value of your badge; it is your pass to the sessions, all meals and social events, and the Exhibit Hall. Losing your badge is equivalent to losing cash, and the name badge should be safeguarded. Don't leave home without it!

Getting from Here to There at Caesars Palace

The hotel is easy to maneuver, but here are a few tips to assist you.

Conference Center and Other Meeting Rooms:
When you checked in, the hotel will provide you a map of the property and will indicate where your room is located relative to the front lobby. That's your first indication of where you are in relation to everything that surrounds you.

Once you get to your hotel room, study the property map to determine your location relative to the Conference Center. Wrap your head around the different levels in the Conference Center. If you are staying at one of our overflow hotels, you can pick up a property map at the front desk or check out the map at the many kiosks around the property.

Promenade Level will have general session rooms, some demo rooms and a few steps up from the Vendor Registration desk is the Exhibit Hall (Octavius Ballroom).

Below the Promenade Level via escalators is the Forum Ballroom, home of more demo rooms.

Above the Promenade Level is the Emperors Level. Here you will find the Palace Ballroom, where breakfast and lunch will be served. Also on this level is the Augustus Ballroom, where our keynote and mini-keynote addresses will take place and evening events on Tuesday and Thursday.

Schedule Updates

For final updates to the conference schedule, view the Session Grid or visit the Agenda page.  All updates will be reflected in the Mobile Events App

Mobile Event App

If you have not yet downloaded and installed the mobile app - DO SO TODAY.  Exhibitors with booths:  your employees should follow the instructions on the Mobile App page - in order to be registered and gain a login to the mobile app.  Do not wait till you're on property to do so as there is a delay between the registration and syncing of accounts.  The Welcome message from the mobile app will come from no-reply@doubledutch.me so be sure to keep an eye out for it as it may end up in your spam folder.

If you previously downloaded the app - recent updates have been released to the app stores - so make sure you don't have an uninstalled update waiting on your device so that you can access eBingo and more.

Most questions can be answered in the Important Info section of the Mobile App - but if you still have some additional questions - feel free to stop by the Ask ILTA desk beginning on Sunday (located on the Promenade level) and the ILTA Staff would be happy to assist.

New Wireless Signal Standard, 5GHz

Would you like an additional reason to upgrade to a new smartphone? Still lugging around an old iPhone 4 or 4S? Does your old Samsung Galaxy S2 wish it was an S6? We want to make sure our attendees are aware that very old devices might not see the ILTA wireless signal in all locations of the conference center.

The old 2.4GHz Wi-Fi standard used by older devices will only be available in some limited areas of the conference center, to help ensure that the newer 5GHz signal is available to the very large number of attendees that we’re anticipating at ILTACON. You can read more about the free wireless service (Please note important info about Guest Room Wi Fi) and information about the limited deployment of 2.4GHz on the ILTACON site.

Take the "No Mi-Fi" Pledge

Please plan to turn off all Mi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot services while in the conference center at Caesars Palace, and take the No Mi-Fi pledge! This earns you a badge and helps ensure a better Wi-Fi experience for all ILTACON attendees. Learn more in the Events app.
